ReCap Recovery Stories

Below you can explore a set of recovery stories from people with personal and professional experiences of disasters. They are in different formats including videos.

These stories have been prepared as part of the ReCap project, to bring to life how some of the considerations outlined in the ReCap Guide play out in the lives of real people. They also feature some experiences that are not well addressed in the disaster recovery literature.

Each story highlights the interconnectedness of the seven recovery capitals.

More recovery stories will be added over time.
