Help fund PTSD treatment research that transforms lives.
More than 1 million Australians suffer from PTSD.
Any one of us can be affected by trauma, which can come in many forms, including exposure to critical incidents and occupational risks, natural disasters, war-related experiences, or childhood trauma. The issues that arise from experiencing trauma can be complex, and while treatments are available, they don’t help everyone.
Our internationally recognised research program advances knowledge of the impact of trauma on the health and wellbeing of trauma survivors, their families and the community. We need your support to continue our work to help those suffering from trauma-related issues such as PTSD and to continue creating and updating resources and training to help the helpers, like our frontline workers and health practitioners in disaster-affected communities.
We need your help to continue our vital research to improve treatments and support people whose lives have been devastated by trauma.
